Hi all,

The following is an email from the zone,

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Dear Teachers, Officers & Senior NCOs

I am pleased to announce that the Footdrill Course conducted in June-July period has ended.

I would like to congratulate 8 of the 9 participants handpicked from 5 schools for completing and passing the course. Unfortunately, 1 of them did not manage to pass the course as she is unable to turn up for both actual and make-up exam day due to unexpected events. All 9 of them will receive a Certificate of Achievement / Participation, and the 8 of them who passed will receive the Drill Knowledge (CPBS).

I would like to further congratulate the following 3 participants for doing exceptionally well for their exam.

1) Seah Jia Ling Claudia (SNGS)

2) Darrick Chew Jun Jie (PSS)

3) Bronson Ng Bo Yang (BGSS)

As such, they will be appointed as Corps Drill Instructor with a validity of 1 year with effect from date stated in the Letter of Appointment. Also, they will be issued the Footdrill Instructor Badge (Bronze).

Corps Drill Instructors are responsible for upgrading and maintaining their respective Corps Drill Standard. Thus, they should always maintain their peak Drill Standard so as to set a good example for their juniors. However, should their conduct failed to meet the required standards including failing of Footdrill MOI in NCO course, their appointment as Corps Drill Instructor will be revoked with immediate effect.

The participants’ individual results will be sent to their respective account via email. A copy will be sent to the Teachers and Officer-In-Charge as well.

Certificates and Badges will be issued to them when it is ready. Notice will be given to the participants via email or SMS.

I believe that the 9 of them who went through the grueling 3 days course have gained much proper drill knowledge. I trust them to impart the correct knowledge to their juniors.

Lastly, I thank all those who help in one way or another to make this course a success. Thank You.

Regards,

Edmund Tan

CAMP

We hope that those who attended camp had learnt something from it. This year's camp is not as tough compared to previous years, you have to push yourselves to the limit to know what your limits are.

Sec 1s; Learn to respect your seniors and respect will be given to you, your seniors are where they are today because they earned it.

Sec 2s; There are some of you who were very outstanding in camp, showing initiative and taking care of your juniors. But there are also some of you who only know how to order your juniors around and never bothered to help them. You know who you are, if you want your juniors to respect you, lead by example.

Sec 3s; :)

To all; Thanks for feedbacks given and we'll try our very best to provide better food next year!

Good job to the camp ics Darrick and Jiayi, for the great teamwork shown during the camp. We are impressed with the way your delegate jobs, well done! Also, good job to Dingxiang who is the overall best sec 1 camper (:

We hope this camp especially Journey to the West was memorable for everyone!

Photos will be uploaded asap (:

Any other feedback about camp, please send your email to peircesjab.hotmail.com. Thank you!
